Viewing: Strictly by appointment please during the hours stated.
Limited number of people in the room at a time. Face coverings are optional.
Handling of items MUST be kept to a minimum. Gloves & hand sanitiser at entrance & exit.
Item collection: On the day following the sale, between 9am & 5pm, STRICTLY by appointment with the office.
1 Whilst the Proprietors of Wye Valley Auctions make every effort to ensure the accuracy of their catalogue description of any lot & any images published, it is the Bidders’ responsibility to ensure they are content with the quality, content, condition & authenticity of any lots prior to bidding. Any statements made regarding any items, either in the catalogue or orally, must be deemed as being opinion only & do not imply any warranties or representations of fact by the Proprietors of Wye Valley Auctions.
2 Viewing the sale items is available by appointment at our premises anytime from 9am til 430pm on the day of the sale. Handling of lots should be kept to a minimum, & only if you are considering bidding on that lot. Children & pets (except guide-dogs) are prohibited from the saleroom at all times. No toilet or catering facilities will be available.
3 The Auctioneer has absolute discretion to divide any lot, combine any two or more lots or to withdraw any lot or lots from sale, to refuse bids, regulate bidding, to cancel the sale without giving any notice or reason.
4 The Auctioneer will bid on behalf of absentee bidders (COMMISSION BIDS) up to the maximum indicated by the bidder.
5 Unless previously instructed by the Vendors, the Auctioneer may sell items without reserve if they see fit.
6 The highest bidder shall be the buyer, except in the case of a dispute. If a dispute arises, it shall be settled at the Auctioneers discretion or offered for resale.
7 The Auctioneer shall regulate bidding at his own discretion.
8 Bids will ONLY be accepted from registered buyers.
9 By placing a bid, each buyer acknowledges that he has satisfied himself fully by inspection of the goods offered prior to bidding. Electrical or petrol driven items are sold on an “as seen” basis; NO WARRANTIES given or implied.
10 Each lot shall remain the Vendors risk until the fall of the hammer, where risk is transferred to the Buyer; items to remain within the saleroom until paid for in full. NO EXCEPTIONS!!
11 Legal title will not pass until lots are paid for in full. Payment can be made by Cash or BACS. We do NOT accept card payments.
12 Lots MUST be paid for in full & removed from the saleroom at the Buyers risk & expense by 5pm on the Tuesday following the sale. For any lots uncollected by this time, the Buyer shall incur charges of £5 +VAT per lot per day for storage until removed. Failure to collect any lots within 28 days & settle any storage fees will incur a ban from all future sales & the items will be forfeited; no refunds will be made & the items will be considered settlement of outstanding fees.
13 Delivery of purchased lots is NOT available.
14 Buyers premium at the rate of 20% + VAT at the current rate will be added to the hammer price of all lots purchased.
15 Each lot shall attract a minimum starting bid of no less than £5. This is at the discretion of the auctioneer.
16 If any person makes a successful bid & fails to pay for that item within 3 days of the auction, then that person will be barred from future sales.
17. ONLINE BIDDING We offer an online bidding service only via easyliveauction.com
Any person not adhering to our terms will be barred from ALL future sales. All auction houses using the easyliveauction.com platform will be aware of any bans imposed.
